clinical and operational experience

Dr. Martin Grossman

Dr. Grossman has more than 30 years of experience caring for older adults across acute, sub-acute, and long-term care settings. He is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Medicine. This combination gives him both strong clinical expertise and a clear understanding of how to support residents and families through complex health situations.

Chief Medical Director

Philosophy of Goal Directed Care

Dr. Grossman believes in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. He works directly with residents and families to understand what matters most to them, then aligns medical decisions with those wishes and comfort goals. This approach keeps care focused on the individual rather than on routine or habit.

Champion of Medication Safety

Medication safety is a central priority in Dr. Grossman’s leadership. He is a strong advocate for gradual dose reduction, particularly with psychotropic medications. By working to find the lowest effective dose for each resident, he helps protect alertness, reduce the risk of falls, and support day-to-day well-being.

Mordy has spent the past seven years in healthcare, working across skilled nursing and long-term care in operator-facing and support roles. At Cornerstone, he runs day-to-day operations so physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants can stay focused on residents, and so facilities have a medical partner that is organized, responsive, and easy to work with.

Chief Operating Officer

Mordy Singer

Operator of the Practice

He oversees the operating rhythm of the group: coverage and scheduling, clinician onboarding, credentialing logistics, facility communication, and the systems that keep rounding consistent. His job is to take friction out of the practice so clinical leadership can set the standard of care and clinicians can work at the top of their license.

Grounded in Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care

Before leading operations at Cornerstone, he served as Director of Ancillary Services for Alliance Health Group, a skilled nursing operator with facilities in North Carolina, and as a Client Services Account Manager at Apex Global Solutions, which supports multi-facility SNF and LTC operators with back-office functions including billing, finance, staffing support, purchasing, and technology. That background gives him a working view of how administrators and directors of nursing experience a medical group — and what it takes to be a reliable partner in the building.
